Summary
Looking for the flexibility of a part-time position? Are you outgoing and eager to help others? If so, Peach State Federal Credit Union is the place for you. We are seeking an individual who values providing exceptional member service to work in our Oconee (Watkinsville) branch. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, be good with math, and pay attention to details. Previous cash handling and/or banking experience is a plus.
Essectial Functions and Responsibilities
- Provide excellent member service with a smile and great attitude
- Accurately process financial transactions for members including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and funds transfers
- Balance a cash drawer
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell credit union products and services
- Assist members with service requests and provide general information concerning products and services
- Perform other duties as assigned

Essectial Functions and Responsibilities
- Receive and process member financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments as directed by the member.
- Post transactions to member accounts.
- Welcome members to the branch and provide information about credit union services; direct members to the appropriate person/department to obtain specific information and services.
- Cross sell credit union products and services.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks such as data entry, filing, and answering the phone.
- Balance cash drawer and daily transactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements
- Provide friendly, professional, personalized service to members.
- Ability to handle at least 100 transactions per day.
- Process transactions accurately.
- Balance cash drawer daily with minimal or no outages.
- Comply with all regulatory requirements and credit union policies and procedures.
Knowledge and Skills
Experience | One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education | A high school degree or GED required.
Interpersonal Skills | Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves significant interaction with others inside and outside of the organization to provide or obtain information, facilitate conversations, solicit cooperation, and build relationships.
Other Skills | Operate a 10-key calculator and computer keyboard by touch. Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy with numbers and names.
Physical Requirements | Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs at times.
