Does Peach State offer Zelle?

Unfortunately, the financial institutions that own Zelle have made changes to their app that impact all their users. After March 31, 2025, new and existing Zelle users will not be able to enroll, send, or receive money through the Zelle app. Instead, users will need to enroll directly through a credit union or bank that offers Zelle within their mobile banking app.

After careful consideration and substantial research, we have decided not to offer Zelle due to excessive costs, extensive system upgrades, and a prolonged implementation time frame by Zelle. This means that beginning April 1, 2025, members will need to use the peer-to-peer (P2P) payment system within Peach State’s online and mobile banking platforms to conveniently and securely transfer money to another Peach State member. They can also use a 3rd party application to transfer money to friends and family such as Apple Pay, Cash App, PayPal, Samsung Pay, or Venmo.

Our management team regularly assesses Peach State’s products and services to ensure that we continue to provide affordable banking solutions that meet our members’ needs. We remain dedicated to ensuring credit union funds are spent wisely and responsibly.
